ZACHARIAS ELISEDD REGALIS
Zacharias Elisedd Regalis was born many years ago as the younger twin of his sister Aurelia. 5th generation to the throne, he and his sister were raised in royalty due to the nature of their element, Aether Manipulation, and the small, but budding antlers on their heads. Growing up, Zacharias was immersed in his educational studies, but due to his cocky nature, was also subjected to undergoing disciplinary training. While he was quick to learn, his attitude typically had many turning their noses away from him. From an early age he had begun taking sword training in addition to his elemental training. He excelled in his sword training and eventually was able to participate in many journeys outside the walls of Lumina.
As Zacharias continued to grow up, he was eventually granted the position as commander of the royal army. However, it was also at this point in time that he understood that only one can be a ruler, that of which was his sister, Aurelia. He internally resented the rules of heritage, but he was not to complain about the traditions of his ancestors before him. However, it was more that he disapproved of the amount of training and extensive studying that was placed upon him even though the elders had already known that he would not be crowned as the next ruler of Lumina. Despite knowing this, he would expect to fulfill his role as the commander of the army instead.
Years passed when the day finally came, that his older sister would be crowned as the next monarch of Lumina. His antlers now grown, Zacharias and his sister were recognizable as of royal blood. He donned his best outfit as he stood next to Aurelia, who was to be crowned by the previous monarch. When the crown was placed on her head, the previous monarch’s antlers slowly begin to disappear as a horizontal white line appeared across their face; this was an indication that the crown has been passed over.
While Zacharias was proud that his sister was the next monarch, he disapproved with some of her decisions and methodologies, especially when it involved territorial conflict with neighboring cities. He truly believed that the city would be able to flourish if they pushed to gain land beyond their walls, while Aurelia believed that it would be best to construct a defensive system.
After several decades, Zacharias had felt unrest and impatient. He had been raised as a ruler only to become nothing more than an army commander. He was bored; and wanted to run things under his own rule. Partaking on some of his followers, he prepared for his final embark. Zacharias had bid farewell to his beloved sister before leaving his home.
It was a rough journey, but Zacharias was finally able to set foot into his desired location of which later would be developed into the city of Solstica.
