Rolan is a laid back young man who lives life as it is. When he first started out in Annex, he had a carefree attitude and always wore a smile on his face. He enjoys sparring with his brother Omega on a regular basis, even if he's the one losing most of the time. He's focused on always wanting to get stronger, thus setting very high expectations on himself. Rolan also enjoys going on frequent trips to bars and drink away (has a high tolerance level).
His brother, Omega, is the only family that he has left. Losing both of his parents in a freak fire accident in the safety of their own home, Omega had held him closer, as such the nature of an older brother. Rolan felt the same way as well, after losing his parents, he wasn't ready to lose his brother as well. When the Adairs first started out in the military, they were both assigned the same missions in the field. However, a reckless move by Rolan had resulted in a near-death experience when he suddenly became surrounded by Parasites. If it weren't for his brother, that would've been his last night. Ever since that, Rolan had been reassigned and transferred to Grounds Patrol within the city, keeping him as far away as possible from the real danger that lurked in the shadows.
As the years progressed, he became more mature, and had often pushed his own friends away in his time of need. As hard headed he may sometimes be, he truly cares for those he considers his family. Rolan finds it difficult to let go of the past and will often try to move forward alone knowing that he will fail. He believes that he has caused so many problems for his friends that he often puts the burden on himself, bottling it all up until an unfortunate event breaks it open.
